The RheMax P™ thermally enhanced primary emulsifier is formulated for use in most invert-emulsion drilling fluids. As a high-performance, versatile additive, it improves emulsion stability, enhances filtration control, and maintains its effectiveness at high temperatures. The RheMax P primary emulsifier performs reliably even in the presence of contaminants and across a broad range of densities and temperatures, ensuring consistent and dependable drilling fluid performance.
This thermally enhanced primary emulsifier creates a stable brine-in-oil emulsion, enhances HPHT fluid loss control, and maintains a consistent rheological profile. When used with a suitable secondary emulsifier, a high-performance organophilic clay, and an HPHT fluid loss additive, it ensures emulsion stability at temperatures up to 400 degF [204 degC] across a wide range of densities. RheMax P primary emulsifier is available in 264-galUS [1,000 L] tanks and 55-galUS [208 L] drums.
