Reda Agile Compact Wide-Range ESP System
The new-generation ESP: Get more from your reservoir
Optimize your well’s production with a compact ESP system that fits deeper and accommodates flow rate changes.
Reduces CO2 emissions by up to 86 metric tons per well per year—equivalent to 347,835 km driven by an average passenger vehicle.*, **
Lowers electricity consumption by a minimum of 3.5%.*
More than 200,000 ESPs currently operate in oil and gas, geothermal, mining, and other industries.
The Reda™ Maximus Eon™ extended-life, install-ready ESP motor is designed for easy adoption and implementation, supporting your emissions reduction goals. Of the hundreds of thousands of ESPs currently operating in oil and gas, geothermal, mining, and other sectors, the majority use induction motor technology and associated surface equipment. However, the optimized electromagnetic design of the Maximus Eon motor delivers a minimum of 3.5% greater electrical power efficiency compared with previous-generation motors, directly reducing energy consumption and Scope 1 or Scope 2 emissions. In addition, the new electromagnetic-optimized geometry boosts horsepower by 33% per unit length and reduces motor length by up to 40%.
Because of its unique and robust induction motor design, the Maximus Eon motor operates seamlessly with any type of legacy surface equipment for ESP applications without the need for infrastructure changes or upgrades, enabling a flawless and easy transition.
Maximus Eon motors are part of our Transition Technologies™ portfolio and full field development solutions that sustainably drive high performance.
* The performance improvement is based on a 540-hp motor configuration and in comparison with previous-generation induction motor technology. Calculations are based on a run life of 365 days with 100% uptime and take into consideration efficiency losses of the power cable, variable frequency or variable speed ESP drive, and transformer. The conversion from electricity to CO2 is based on the reference of 485.30 g of CO2/kW.h.
** The potential CO2 savings per year per well are equivalent to eliminating emissions from 216,135 miles [347,835 km] driven by an average passenger vehicle, as determined using the Environmental Protection Agency’s .
